Established in 2012 as an independent voluntary bar association, the Weston Bar Association ("WBA") is a network of legal and business professionals.
MISSION

The mission of the WBA is to advance the interests of the legal profession and galvanize public access to the legal arena through collaborative and synergistic initiatives.
The WBA has thrived under the leadership of a revolving board of distinguished officers and directors including, Harry Rosen, former mayor of Weston, Victor Tobin, former chief judge for Broward County, and Michelle Ricca and Michael Robinson, current Broward County judges.

INITIATIVES
The WBA routinely evaluates the ever-evolving legal sector to foster progressive development and key initiatives. The WBA has launched initiatives to raise awareness about prevalent issues in partnership with other non-profits, including but not limited to, mental health, consumer fraud, and addiction and recovery in the legal profession.




ANTI HUMAN TRAFFICKING INITIATIVE
Florida ranks as the third highest state for human trafficking cases and second for labor trafficking cases, according to the Florida Alliance to End Human Trafficking. As a collaborative, multidisciplinary the WBA is committed to empowering victims of human trafficking and disempowering traffickers
The WBA Anti Human Trafficking Initiative is being launched to establish a dedicated attorney referral group and funding for legal services for victims of human trafficking; and for raising public awareness.
